When we receive your form, we will contact you if you are selected for an interview. Make sure to check your email and voicemail regularly so you don’t miss any important information or action items.

Important: Completing this application is not a guarantee of a placement this summer. You must be at least 14 years old and no older than 21 years old by June 1st, 2025 and meet other requirements to be eligible.

Basic Eligibility
To participate in DYEP, the eligibility criteria requires you must meet the following: Live in Denver, be enrolled in school, be 14-21 years old, and must provide proof of low-income eligibility by meeting one of the low-income qualifications listed below.

Proof of identification and work eligibility. Select ALL DOCUMENTS YOU HAVE AND CAN SHOW DURING ENROLLMENT. NOTE: Youth participants must be able to present these documents in person during the formal onboarding process to show their identity and authorization to work.

Work Experience Options
All DYEP work experiences this year will be in-person/on-site, working in-person with an employer and their organization for 110 hours with the ability to earn approximately $2,121.90 in wages. 

Youth 18+ must complete a background check if working with your youth under 18. Your employer or DYEP can support covering the cost of this background check for eligible  youth.
